Spanish Language Learning – Struggling with direct and indirect object pronouns. HELP!

Hi everyone, today I studied object pronouns with imperative, infinitive and gerund and I have several doubts (I am kind of frazzled as I write this). The problems mainly concerning the cases with combination of direct and indirect object, and the various possible cases.

I will start to illustrate them.

*Di la verdad a tus padres -> Diles la verdad.*
*Comprad el regalo a vuestros primos -> Compradles el regalo.*

Is there a contracted form of that, like “dilesla” or “compradlesla” or something like that?

For example, with the gerund there should be.

*Di la verdad a tus padres -> Diciéndosela te sentirás mejor.*

But with “se” we cannot distinguish whether one is speaking to “them” or “él/ella/usted.” And in this case, what if the direct object is plural too (if it was “the truths”?) What would the sentence look like? Is “diciéndoselas” correct?

Or again:

*Estás preparando la comida a los invitados? Sí, se la estoy preparando. Why do we use “if” even when the indirect object is plural?*

I don’t understand if there are cases where you don’t have to combine or there are no contracted forms. I tried to see case by case imperative on tú and vosotros, can someone tell me if these forms exist or if they are correct?

(I realize that the tú to vosotros and the vosotros to vosotros is forced, it’s just to get an idea of how it works).

**Tú – yo**
